 The Egyptian President receives HE the Chairman of the General Sports Authority

 President of the Republic of Egypt, HE Abdul-Fattah Al-Sisi, received today Chairman of the General Sports Authority , Mr. Turki bin Abdul Mohsen Al-Sheikh, in the presence of His Excellency the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the Arab Republic of Egypt Mr. Ahmed Abdul Aziz Qattan.

During the reception, HE the Chairman of the General Sports Authority convoyed the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense. Noting the strength and distinguished relations of partnership between the two brotherly countries, and the Kingdom's keenness to strengthen them in various fields.

His Majesty extended the condolences of the Kingdom to the victims of the terrorist attack on the Marmina church in Helwan yesterday, stressing that the Kingdom stands by Egypt and its full solidarity with it in the face of the criminal terrorism that threatens the whole world.

For his part, the Egyptian president conveyed his greetings to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Highness the Crown Prince , stressing the importance of continuing intensive coordination and consultation between the Kingdom and Egypt on various issues. On Egypt's pride in the close relations between the two countries and the two brotherly peoples.

His Excellency expressed his appreciation for the condolences of the Saudi side in the victims of the terrorist attack which took place yesterday, pointing out that the attack reflects again the need for concerted regional efforts to combat terrorism and stop funding.

During the meeting, they discussed means of boosting cooperation between the two countries in the various sports fields, especially through the establishment of investment, joint sports projects and increasing the exchange of experiences and sports delegations between the two countries.
