 The General Sport Authority(GSA)and the Spanish League La Liga announced on Sunday the main steps in their partnership to develop football in Saudi Arabia. The signing ceremony of the Saudi players loan was held at the Four Seasons Hotel in Riyadh In the presence of 25 members of its members and the President and members of the Saudi Football Federation in addition to the heads of the clubs of the Saudi professional league, in a professional move unique in the world.

The multi partnership agreement between the General Sports Authority, the Saudi Football Federation and the Spanish La Liga Association in mid-October included several elements, including the establishment of an academy and talent discovering initiative in Saudi Arabia. The agreement resulted in the request of seven clubs from La Liga Santander (First division) and La Liga (second division) the services of nine Saudi players on loan. He added: "Part of the agreement with La Liga is that the Saudi Federation will establish local football academies in Saudi Arabia under the commercial brand and will provide technical supervision and benefit from the experience of La Liga. This aims to provide the best training methods for football for young Saudi players Allowing them to acquire sufficient skills through a long-term training process and also to work with football coaches throughout the Kingdom to develop training skills and technical techniques over the coming years.
