 HRH the Minister of Sport announces “Nafs” platform to issue licenses for sport academies and clubs and private gyms

 HRH Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Alfaisal, Minister of Sport & President of the Saudi Arabian Olympic Committee on Monday the 21st of June 2021 announced the launch of “Nafs” platform in charge of issuing licenses for Sport clubs and academies as well as privately owned gyms this comes for the first time in the Kingdom.

The aim of this huge project that comes under the umbrella of the Quality of Life Program is to enable the private sector be it local or foreign investors to invest in the Kingdom’s sports sector and to establish and expand clubs, academies and private gyms. This project allows investors to issue licenses through Nafs platform, achieving therefore the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 and diversifying its economic sources toward building a healthy society.

The launch of the platform took place in a virtual ceremony in which HRH the Minster of Sport announced this huge and unique project and stated in a press statement on this occasion: “ I’d like to extend my sincere gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and the Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman - May Allah Protects them - for their unbounded
Interest to support and renew the sports sector and from which we derive inspiration and motivation toward a sports sector with promising investment opportunities and attractive environment as we move confidently toward contributing to achieving the three objectives of Vision 2030.
